Refund Policy

When we refund a subscription, who to ask depending on where you bought it, and how long the money takes to come back.

Updated: 2026-08-07

This policy explains what happens when you want your money back for a Crevo subscription. It is written to be read by someone who has just been charged and wants an answer, so the short version is here and the detail follows.

If you bought inside the iOS or Android app, the store took the payment and only the store can refund it — section 2. If you bought on our website, write to support@senal.software: we refund in full within 14 days of the charge if you have spent no more than 20 credits, no reason needed — section 4.

Beyond that window we look at requests individually. We always refund a charge that was duplicated or unauthorised, and we always restore credits lost to a fault on our side. Cancelling a subscription stops the next payment but does not refund the current one — section 5.

1. What this policy covers

This Refund Policy applies to every payment you make for Crevo — subscriptions to the Pro and Max plans, whether billed monthly or annually, and any other paid feature we offer. It forms part of the Agreement described in our Terms of Service and is the express exception referred to in section 3.4 of those Terms. Words defined in the Terms carry the same meaning here.

Free accounts are outside this policy because nothing is charged for them. A free account receives 10 credits a day and can use every tool in the app, which is deliberate: we would much rather you found out whether Crevo works for you before paying than afterwards.

Where this policy and the Terms disagree, the Terms govern. Where either conflicts with a right you have as a consumer under mandatory law, that law governs and nothing here limits it.

2. Who to ask depends on where you bought

This is the first thing to establish, and it decides everything that follows. Crevo can only refund money it received. A purchase made inside the mobile app is billed by the app store, not by us — the store is the seller of record, the charge appears on your statement under its name, and we have no ability to reverse it.

2.1. Bought inside the iOS app (App Store)

Apple handles the refund under its own policy. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com or through Settings on your device. We cannot issue, expedite, or overturn Apple’s decision, and we are not told what you asked for or what you were told.

2.2. Bought inside the Android app (Google Play)

Google handles the refund under its own policy. Request one from your Google Play account’s order history or through Google Play support. The same limits apply — the decision is Google’s, not ours.

2.3. Bought on the web

Payments made on our website are processed by Polar. We hold merchant-side refund access, so these are the purchases this policy governs directly. Write to support@senal.software and we will deal with it ourselves.

If you are not sure which of the three applies, check the receipt. A receipt from Apple or Google means the store holds the money. Write to support@senal.software either way and we will tell you where to go — we would rather redirect you on the same day than have you wait on a queue that cannot help.

3. Your statutory right of withdrawal

Consumers buying at a distance normally have fourteen days to withdraw from a contract without giving a reason. That right comes with an exception for digital content and services delivered immediately, and the exception is the one that applies to a Crevo subscription: when you subscribe, the credits and features are released to your account at once rather than at some later date.

If you are a consumer in Türkiye, the fourteen-day right of withdrawal under Law No. 6502 and the Distance Contracts Regulation does not apply to services performed instantly in an electronic environment or to intangible goods delivered instantly to the consumer, under article 15 of that Regulation. Your subscription is such a service.

If you are a consumer in the EEA or the United Kingdom, the equivalent right lapses once supply of digital content has begun with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose the right to cancel — article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU, and regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 in the UK. By subscribing and receiving your credits immediately, you give that consent and that acknowledgement.

Two things this does not touch. It does not affect your rights where the Services are faulty or are not as described — see section 7. And it does not affect any more generous right your local law gives you, which continues to apply whatever this page says.

Because the statutory window is switched off by that exception rather than by anything we chose, we give it back voluntarily. That is what section 4 is.

4. Our goodwill refund

We will refund a web subscription in full if you ask within 14 days of the charge and you have spent no more than 20 credits since it. You do not have to give a reason.

This applies to a first purchase, to a plan change, and to a renewal you did not expect — the 14 days run from the charge in question, not from when you first subscribed. The credit test is there so that the offer reads as “I tried it and it was not for me” rather than as a way to finish a brand and then ask for the money back; 20 credits is a handful of generations and twice what a free account gets in a day.

Outside those limits we consider requests case by case and are not unreasonable about it, but we do not promise a refund. In particular we will normally say no where the plan has been used substantially, where the account has breached section 2.7 of the Terms, or where the same account has been refunded before on the same basis.

For purchases made through the App Store or Google Play, this section describes what we would do if we could. We cannot — see section 2 — and the store’s policy is what actually applies. If a store refuses a request that falls squarely inside the limits above, write to support@senal.software anyway and we will look at what we can do on our side, such as credit on the account.

5. Renewals, cancellation, and unused time

Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not refund the charge you have already paid, and it does not end your access early — you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, as set out in section 4.2 of the Terms. To avoid a renewal, cancel at least twenty-four hours before your billing date — through the App Store or Google Play if you bought there, or from your account settings if you bought on the web. We do not refund a period simply because it went unused, and we do not prorate a cancellation made part way through a period.

An annual plan is charged once for the year, and the credit grant is monthly rather than annual. Cancelling an annual plan therefore stops the following year’s charge and leaves the remaining months of the current year intact. A renewal charge you did not intend is covered by section 4 like any other charge, provided you tell us within 14 days.

If a free trial is offered and you do not cancel before it ends, the subscription begins and you are charged — section 2.6 of the Terms. That first charge is refundable on the same terms as any other under section 4.

6. What a refund does to your credits

Credits are the unit in which the Services are delivered. A refund reverses the payment, so it also reverses what the payment bought:

  • Any unspent credits from the refunded period are removed from your account.
  • Your account returns to the free plan, with the free daily allowance.
  • Watermark-free downloads, the full template catalogue, and other paid features stop being available.
  • Work you have already generated stays yours. Section 2.2.d of the Terms assigns you the Output, and that assignment survives a refund — we do not delete or reclaim images you have made.

Credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not refunded separately from the subscription that granted them. Unused credits do not carry over beyond the period they were granted for.

7. Faults, failed generations, and wrong charges

7.1. A generation that failed

If a generation fails or returns nothing usable because of a fault on our side, tell us at support@senal.software and we will restore the credits it consumed. This is not a refund of money and does not use up the window in section 4. Note that a result you simply do not like is not a fault — generative models are not deterministic, and iterating is the normal way to use them.

7.2. The Services were unavailable

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and section 2.5 of the Terms says so. For a substantial outage affecting a meaningful part of a paid period, write to us and we will normally extend the period or credit the account rather than refund it.

7.3. A charge you did not make

Tell us immediately at support@senal.software and, if it was a card payment, tell your bank. We will refund a charge that was genuinely not authorised by you or by anyone using your account, and we will refund a duplicate charge for the same period in full, without regard to the limits in section 4.

7.4. A price increase you were not told about

Section 3.2 of the Terms requires thirty days’ notice before a fee increase takes effect. If you were charged an increased price without that notice, we will refund the difference or, if you prefer, the whole charge.

8. How to request a refund

Write to support@senal.software from the email address on the account. To avoid a round trip, include:

  1. 1.the email address your Crevo account uses, if it differs from the one you are writing from;
  2. 2.where you bought — the iOS app, the Android app, or the website;
  3. 3.the date and amount of the charge, and the receipt or order number if you have it; and
  4. 4.a sentence on what went wrong, if anything did. You do not need a reason for a request under section 4.

We aim to reply within two business days and to decide within five. If we approve a refund, it goes back to the payment method that was charged — we cannot send it anywhere else. Your bank or card issuer then takes its own time to post it, typically five to ten business days, which is outside our control. Refunds are made in the currency you were charged in; where your bank converts, the amount you receive may differ slightly from the amount you paid because the exchange rate has moved.

If we say no and you think we are wrong, reply and say so — a person will look again. If that does not resolve it, section 10.9 of the Terms sets out what happens next, and consumers keep the forum described in section 10.8. In Türkiye that is the Tüketici Hakem Heyeti or the Tüketici Mahkemesi, at your own domicile, regardless of anything in the Agreement.

9. Chargebacks

Please write to us before disputing a charge with your bank. A chargeback takes weeks, costs both sides a fee, and usually resolves something we would have settled the same day.

Where a chargeback is raised, we may suspend the account until it is resolved, and we will provide the payment processor with the account and usage records relevant to the dispute. Nothing here prevents you from exercising a right you have against your card issuer.

10. Changes and contact

We may change this policy. The version in force is the one published on the date of your charge, so a change never applies retroactively to a payment you have already made. Material changes are notified in accordance with section 10.6 of the Terms.
